KPD announces 26 indictments in drug cases

A lengthy investigation into the illegal sale of prescription drugs in Kingsport has netted 26 indictments and numerous arrests, including suspects who allegedly sold narcotics from their hospital bed and while on the clock at a fast food restaurant.

A fight led a Johnson City man to pour gasoline on his neighbor's porch and into the living room where an infant was sleeping early Wednesday morning, but his father stopped him from setting the house on fire, Johnson City police said.
