Investigators are attempting unravel the truth behind allegations of a secret list supposedly maintained to hide lengthy delays for sick veterans, making it appear as if they were seeing doctors sooner when some may have died while waiting.

According to Lee County Commonwealth's Attorney Shawn Hines, James Lawrence Jones wore a mask as he entered Cash Today and presented a note to the clerk demanding money. Jones also allegedly pointed a handgun at the employee.

April Dawn Garland, 28, and Daniel Ray Jennings, 24, both of 884 Dry Creek Road, Jonesborough, are charged with child neglect for allegedly exposing a child to a harmful environment. They were both arraigned on the charge in Sessions Court on Wednesday.
