Update: Small plane crashes at Kansas airport, killing 4

Three of the dead were inside the building when the plane crashed into it at the city's Mid-Continent Airport, and the fourth was found on the roof and is believed to be the pilot, Wichita Fire Chief Ronald Blackwell said Thursday afternoon.

A man called 911 on a possum "with blood coming out of one side of its mouth," adding that the animal refused to leave his yard. Due to his past run-in with a rabbit, the experience was particularly harrowing.

Truck crash 'rains' debris on Russell home

An adult male inside the home was not injured as the debris fell onto his house. The truck's driver, Timothy C. Hoss, 50, of Bristol, Va., was flown to Bristol Regional Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries.
