ROGERSVILLE — A Church Hill man was charged with public intoxication after police spotted him going back and forth from Hawkins County Sessions Court to the Justice Center parking lot to allegedly take drinks from a 40-ounce bottle of beer.

CHURCH HILL — Police Chief Mark Johnson says the body of an 18-year-old male was located at approximately 11 a.m. It was reportedly outside a residence on Burlington Road and appears to have been in the elements for "several hours."
