When Don Droke was an assistant baseball coach at Sullivan East, he became the go-to guy when a kid on the team needed a glove repair. "The Drokester" no longer coaches baseball, but he still repairs baseball gloves.

Two area building contractors are now the subject of a criminal investigation after allegedly building a $30,000 room addition so poorly in Mount Carmel late last year that it literally had to be torn down before it fell down and hurt someone.
