Former D-B standout Garber dies at 50

Former Dobyns-Bennett basketball standout Lee Garber Jr., who played on the 1980-81 Tribe team that went 36-1, died on Dec. 21. He was 50.

Runway lights at Tri-Cities Regional Airport are now operating following a malfunction. One Delta flight was diverted to Knoxville, and passengers were transported by ground to TCRA. One USAirways flight was canceled.
