A Hawkins County DUI defendant told police Monday that her boyfriend, who fled from a wreck March 10 which resulted in her arrest, had also taken her purse and wallet containing $16,700 which was still unaccounted for.

Police are searching for a woman who allegedly attempted to steal $1,500 in clothing from a store in the Kingsport Town Center, but was stopped and fled the scene, adding that it was her third shoplifting incident at the business.
