The annual Warriors Path State Park Kids Fishing Day runs from 9 a.m. until noon on Saturday, July 25. This free event is for children ages 15 and under.

An employee of a Kingsport grocery store, along with a pair of customers, reported an elderly man had been pushed to the ground in the parking lot, then Tasered by his assailant.
